  1. Howdy C.B. was my dad. He was a premire bullrider in the 50s, he was hurt in a bullriding accident on Aug. 27, 1956. I was born on Sept. 7. He rehabed in Memphis being a former paratrooper with the 82nd airborne. He was released from the VA hospital there in 1957 and givin 5 years to live at best. We just lost him in 2003. He was independent untill late in his life. He coached rodeo and 7 of his students went on to the PRCA. I myself rodeoed for 17 years riding bulls and broncs, put myself through college and raising my family doing so. Dad was a cowboy evagelist, who spoke from texas to canada, drove his own car and cooked a mean pot of beans. He was the toughest most positive person i have ever known. He never complained about his condition and always was upbeat. I feel like if i can be half of what my dad was i will be satisfied with my life. Oh and by the way that was a 51 ford if i'm not mistaken. So there's the rest of the story, i think i can fill in any blanks you might have.
